By-Law Amendment
The Credit Union underwent a review of its By-laws to align with updated business practices, regulations, and policy updates. The Board of Directors worked closely with a governance consultant and with the Credit Union’s legal counsel, Torys LLP, to identify areas requiring change, and the Board has thoroughly reviewed all of the proposed changes being presented for approval. Many of the changes were administrative in nature, including updating policy names, correcting grammatical errors and ensuring all sections were numbered correctly. However, for changes that were more significant in nature, a high-level summary has been included for the membership’s reference, along with a copy of the full set of By-laws.
On February 4, 2026, the Board of Directors formally recommended the revised by-laws to the membership. As a result, we now bring the document forward to the members for a vote.
